  • Began to implement A.I. system, enemies can now distinguish which enemies are the biggest threat. The next step is to make it so the enemies have to actually learn such a thing from experience. Then I gotta make the enemy pick the attack that it needs to pick. But I have it all worked out in my head, at least.
  • Made attacks even more target neutral (enemies can perform every attack in the game, minus Renzair since it needs Quicktime)

So that the game is challenging yet fair, with moderately intelligent enemies?

I'm not doing anything fancy here, it's not like I'm programming an A.I. that plays chess with you. :|

Enemies now able to decide between Healing and Attacking, and they do so by checking their list of known abilities.

No I didn't do this today, I'm on strike break.

  • Re-initializing use of the Daily Progress Log
  • Added "Poison" status effect, and Resistance stat
  • Began designing (but not programming) menu layouts
  • Fixed "ghosts turn red" bug
  • Made game wait for damage indicators to go away before finishing the attack (Will try to make the transition smoother, the damage things actually take a bit longer than expected before going away)

  • Began inputting Menu and Menu related arrays
  • Sorted out the sorting code for the Inventory
  • Wrote out the inventory layout designs and made (with Khrene's help) the full Inventory layout and mockup.

  • Fully implemented main menu (other than the simple addition of adding the current area and amount of money)

  • Implemented "Order" option of menu

MONTHS LATER...

  • A lot of work on the inventory system. It works now, it just lacks the Use function and the Auto-sort. I need layouts for those before I want to bother trying to code them.
